Doug Burns spent over a decade at HBO, where he helped launch and scale HBO GO, HBO Now, and HBO Max. As Director of Software Engineering, he led large teams and oversaw systems that processed millions of dollars in transactions every day.
Through a career spanning almost 30 years, Doug has worked with companies big and small in publishing, government, entertainment, ecommerce, and more.
Doug lives in upstate New York with his wife and son. When he’s not building things, you’ll usually find him on a ski slope in the winter or a golf course the rest of the year (he even built an app for that).
